Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow… Isaiah 1:17
We exist to combat rampant poverty, sexual exploitation, and abuse of children.
What Our Programs Can Do
School attendance and successful completion of a college diploma in Kenya can help reduce the incidences of early marriage, prostitution, sex trafficking, alcohol use, teen pregnancies, crime, the spread of HIV/AIDS, and poverty.
We exist to combat sexual exploitation,
rampant poverty, human trafficking and abuse of children
by providing homes and education
We are standing in the gap between the most vulnerable children and a poverty stricken society that has no Child Protective Services or any form of social safety net. The children not only fall through the cracks but they are the targets of cruel oppression and exploitation from vicious human traffickers. Often these children and trafficked for sexual exploitation and once they get sick or become pregnant they are thrown out on the streets and try to make a living through begging or fall into crime. That is where we come in. We aim to provide not only a home where their basic needs are met, but also to provide education so they are able to build a future for themselves.
By providing scholarships for those leaving orphanages who demonstrate a commitment to Jesus Christ and learning, we aim to increase their opportunities exponentially. By increasing their opportunities, they gain influence in their culture. and in doing so, we open the doors a little wider for peace, justice, and ultimately the Gospel. These are the long term goals of Education for Orphans.
