Christmas Day of 2023 saw a new joy introduced into the lives of the children at Kombaka Children's Home: For the first time in their lives, they received Christmas gifts in the form of new shoes.
Some very generous ladies at Creekside Christian Church decided to make a difference in the lives of the children and donated funds to buy each child a present. Their caretakers decided to equip them with shoes - some of the kids have never had a pair in their lives.
Needless to say, they were beaming from ear to ear!!
The caretakers also arranged for a christmas dinner where the kids and their foster families were invited to partake. All the same, a very merry Christmas for those who didn’t know the season was for giving and receiving joy.
